A cozy burrow for your apps.
And for the Racco.
Toca replaces the Windows taskbar: apps and windows, background icons, its own Start menu, widgets and an Island at the top of the screen. Seven days with everything unlocked and, if you like it, R$ 9.90 once. The raccoon comes along.
It's real: hover the dock, click Start, the pomodoro and the music, and open the Island up top.
Everything the taskbar did. And then some.
The first time, Toca asks whether it may hide the Windows taskbar. With it hidden, Toca takes over the tray, Start and the shortcuts.
Background apps
Notification area icons live behind Toca's arrow. Left and right clicks reach the app just like on the taskbar.
Win+1 to Win+9
The usual shortcuts open apps in the dock's order. With Shift, a new window.
Windows made simple
Click to switch and minimize, scroll over an app to cycle its windows, middle-click for a new one. Live thumbnails on hover.
Who needs attention
An app that flashes gets an orange indicator and a little hop until you look at it.
Recent items on right-click
The files and addresses Windows keeps for each app, one click away, next to the open windows.
Folders as a grid
A folder in the dock opens its newest files and shows how many arrived since your last look.
Any screen
From 800×600 to 4K the size adapts. Bottom, top or sides, on the monitor you pick or wherever the mouse is.
Out of the way when you want
It can hide by itself and come back when the mouse touches the edge. In videos, games and slides it steps aside.
Environments
Work and Personal, each with its own apps and a Racco accessory. Each can live on its own Windows desktop.
The Windows key opens your Start.
Pinned apps, recent files, folders and the power menu, anchored to the dock. Start typing and it becomes a search.
- Searches apps (even Control Panel and Command Prompt), open windows, Windows settings, Toca commands and math: type =12*3+4.
- In All apps, right-click to pin to Start or to the dock.
- The Windows Start menu is still one click away, in the footer. Win+E, Win+D and the other shortcuts don't change.
What's going on, at the top of the screen.
A pill shows the music playing, the pomodoro, the stopwatch, the meeting about to start and the app asking for attention. Hover and it opens the controls.
- The most important thing is front and center, the rest becomes icons beside it.
- It never steals focus and hides in full screen.
- With nothing going on, it doesn't even show up.
Live widgets, right in the dock.
Each takes the space of one or two icons and opens a card with more details. Click to try them.
Or make your own, in any language.
A folder with a widget.json and a script. Whatever the script prints becomes the widget: title, subtitle, icon, color, progress bar and a panel with buttons. Options become fields in the Panel.
// %APPDATA%\Toca\widgets\cafe\widget.json { "name": "Café", "command": "powershell -File cafe.ps1", "every": 300, "width": 2 } # cafe.ps1 @{ title = "3 cafés"; subtitle = "hoje"; icon = "☕"; progress = 0.6 } | ConvertTo-Json
Ten icon styles, nine bar themes.
The style changes each app's icon, using the color of the icon itself. Pick one and watch the dock up top change.
He lives in the Toca.
The Racco walks along the bar, reacts to what happens, tells you what matters and switches accessories with the environment: glasses at work, a beanie at home. On Halloween he becomes a little ghost.
With Banditboard open, he follows your Claude Code usage and shows how much is left of the session and the week.
Close Toca and everything goes back to normal.
The Windows taskbar comes back and the background icons return to Explorer. If something goes wrong, Toca hands everything back before quitting. Your settings live in a file you can take to another PC.

Frequently asked questions
How much is it?
Toca comes with 7 days of everything unlocked. After that, the dock, windows, tray, clock and the Racco stay free, and Start, the Island, the extra widgets, styles and themes need the license: R$ 9.90, once, no subscription.
On how many PCs does the license work?
All of yours, forever, including future versions. Just use the same key on each PC.
How do I activate it?
After paying, the key shows up right away and arrives by e-mail. The Activate in Toca button does it in one click. Or paste the key in Toca's Panel, under License. Lost it? Recover it here.
What if I change my mind?
Ask for a refund through the support form within 7 days of buying and you get the full amount back.
Do I have to hide the Windows taskbar?
No. Without hiding it, Toca is an extra dock. Hiding it, Toca takes over the tray, Start and the Win+number shortcuts. You can change it anytime in the Panel.
Why does Windows warn me when installing?
The installer has no paid digital signature, so SmartScreen doesn't know it. Click More info and then Run anyway.
Does Toca collect any data?
No. It only checks GitHub for new versions and verifies the license on your own PC, offline. From the payment we only keep the e-mail, to send and recover your key. See the terms and privacy.
Does it work with more than one monitor?
Yes. Choose which monitor the dock lives on, or let it follow the mouse.
What if I want the Windows taskbar back?
Close Toca or uninstall it from Windows Settings, under Apps. The taskbar comes back as it was.
Is it open source?
No. The installers and the notes for each version are public on GitHub.
